Tag and Trace Surveys at Southwark Station

Enabling safe sterilisation and construction for an over-station development.

Project Overview

Hulkro supported SRC Infrastructure on behalf of Transport for London with Tag and Trace Surveys at Southwark Station. The surveys were critical in identifying assets and cables, allowing a section of the station to be safely sterilised for the construction of an over-station development.

Key activities included:

  • Conducting intrusive surveys to assess the site

  • Tracing and documenting cable routes

  • Providing invert access for detailed inspections

  • Lifting manholes, rodding, and roping ducts to prove cable routes

  • Surveying substations and associated routes

  • Performing core holes and civil assessments for structural insights

These surveys provided TfL with detailed intelligence on the station’s underground infrastructure, supporting safe construction and effective project planning.
